Sue's Sudoku Puzzle Page

Each row, column and 3x3 square must contain exactly one of each digit,1-9.
Try to solve the left hand puzzle, which was posted 7/12. Or by clicking Hint repeatedly, you may watch the program solve the right-hand puzzle, which was first posted 7/2. The program uses four different rules, and employs one of them at each step. I believe that the puzzles can be solved entirely by fully determined moves. Neither guessing nor backtracking is necessary. If you believe you have found a valid (i.e. single solution) counter-example, please submit it.

The program is still under development. Suggestions are welcome.
